Cool stone

This is a stone at Fairview cemetery in BG. All polished black cap & column with this mirrored on either side of the cap, I like that it's blasted, not etched.

Good lookin' piece of marble

Pretty cool pic of Roy Acuff memorial at Spring Hill cemetery in Nashville. Spring Hill also is the resting place for Bill Monroe, Hank Snow, Keith Whitley, etc.

Interesting

Not the more famous people of the same names, but interesting.

Sleep in a wigwam !

This is in Cave City, KY and it looks really cool.
Everytime I go through here and see the wigwams, I think that this must have sparked the idea for the cones in the movie "Cars".

History Lesson

Fort Williams at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery
(Glasgow, KY)

A little bit of info about the union fort taken by the CSA in October of '63 A couple of views of the cemetery from the fort.
I'd better go move the truck!

Blessed are the white-tious!

I don't know how well you can see the flag just behind the church sign.

EVERYONE welcome?

Another funny name

If this family doesn't have local political power they're in the wrong business.

Poor little compressor

On the last day of June, while driving down the road the passenger side wheel of the compressor came off, lug nuts and all. A good time was had by all.

Rather than search the nearest 5 states for the exact axle parts, I decided to remove the entire axle, find a good utility trailer with a more common axle and hub sizes and mount the compressor on there.

Well here's the the trailer that I found, 5' X 8' tilt utility, 15" wheels, A-frame; should be perfect for the job. Now the fun part, get THAT onto THAT. hmmm

Success !
I found some good steel brackets and anchored it to the trailer.

All set and ready to get back to work after 2 days.
Day 1 - disaster and assessment
Day 2 - recovery
